Sponsor our intern, Mia, as she runs and raises money for Justice Africa

August 27th, 2008

Mia is running a half-marathon for Justice Africa on the 12 October 2008. The money raised through this event will be used to support an African intern to gain experience in the London office at Justice Africa. This would be an opportunity given to an African, interested in the Development field in Africa, who would not have the means to support themselves whilst working voluntarily at the organisation. Through this opportunity we intend that the intern will gain valuable international experience in key concepts and ideologies of human rights, democracy and social justice. Through this opportunity it is hoped the intern will enter the Development field with skills to directly affect change and development. Currently, Justice Africa does not have funds to support their interns. By raising funds for African interns, it is hoped the scheme will give back directly, through Africans, to African Development.
