Legacies

Legacies, large and small, make a huge difference to our work. By remembering Justice Africa’s work in your Will, you will be contributing to our work for human rights and social justice across Africa. You can request the legacy be given to fund any of our projects, or you can choose to donate to a specific project.

Gifts made to charities in a Will are exempt from inheritance tax and can reduce an individual’s tax liability. There are three main types of legacy for making bequests to charities and each has advantages and disadvantages, according to your personal wishes and circumstances. Your solicitor, bank manager or accountant will be able to advise you.
